Description

The health services that became theAnthony L Jordan Health Corporation ( (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. Jordan Health is now seeking aFacilities Managerwho, under the guidance of the Chief Operating officer, is primarily responsible for ensuring optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators are in compliance with all applicable building codes, life safety codes, and regulations governing the operations of Jordan Healths health center.

Requirements

TheFacilities Managerwill ensure to:

Manage facilities staff consisting of employees or contractors in the maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Manage the development and implementation of the annual maintenance management plan for all Jordan Health locations.

Monitor and schedule regular maintenance of the HVAC system, roof, plumbing system, electrical system, life/safety and other building systems.

Assist the Chief Operating Officer in the development and maintenance of the Jordan Health long-term facilities plan, and projects identified through that plan. Also assist the Chief Operating Officer in the development of the annual capital budget for all Jordan Health facilities.

Stay current on codes pertaining to health care facility design, and assist with compliance of Joint Commission and other State/Federal inspections.

Collaborates with the Operations Manager in the maintenance and implementation of the Emergency Preparedness Program documents, and in the planning and execution of drills and education sessions implementing the program.

Education And Experience Required:

Associates degree in facility management or a related field.

5 years experience or equivalent balance of experience and education.

Licenses And Certifications Required:

None

Special Skills, Knowledge Required:

Knowledge of maintenance and operation of building mechanical systems and fire life safety systems as well as business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.

Team player, hard worker, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential to the position.

Proficient in operating a Windows based PC with demonstrated user skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Salary Description

$73,400-$79,000/YEARLY
