Our client, a $200 Million MGA that has been in business for decades, is looking for an Executive Underwriter to help with the growth of an already successful niche program. This role will help establish and manage underwriting strategy, direction and efficiencies and will be hands-on with training and mentoring.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with P&C Package underwriting (experience in the Non-profit, Social Services sectors and with Casualty/Professional Liability is a big plus), have a successful track record of growing books of business, and will have assisted with mentoring and training more junior Underwriters. This office is in Upstate New York, and you must be in a few days a week.
