**About the role**

As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for working as a member of the meetings and events team and are responsible for supporting internal and external meetings, conferences and events for key stakeholders. Other key responsibilities include:

* Assisting with all day-to-day tasks supporting the staff on the meetings and events team.

* Working with the Events Operations Specialist to develop budget proposals for meetings and events and track compliance with the budget as approved.

* Assisting the event planners and event operations specialist to build registration sites for firm meetings.

* Researching venues for dinners, social gatherings at meetings and other events.

* Utilizing programs such as Aventri (the firms event management software), Excel, Word, and/or Access to file and track department records, documentation as requested.

**About you**

* Well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.

* Organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.

* Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.

And have:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Bachelors degree preferred, OR four (4) years of related work experience

* One (1) year relevant experience at a professional services organization desired.
