DescriptionReporting to the Director & Manager of Special Events, this is a part-time position responsible for the safe serving of alcoholic beverages and other event tasks on Old Falls Street.Job Responsibilities
- This position has non-standard hours due to the events and activities taking place on evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Event Associate's tasks include but are not limited to:
- Keep the assigned area clean, tidy, and organized, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Act as an ambassador for Old Falls Street and the City of Niagara Falls and provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries.
- Perform assigned event tasks including but not limited to serving beer, working point of sale stations, admissions, and checking IDs/wrist bands.
- Perform the job safely and in compliance with Old Falls Street policies, procedures, work and safety rules and the employee manual.
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures at all times.
- Perform other administrative or service functions as assigned for Old Falls Street events.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to be flexible on hours and work evenings, weekend, and holidays if required.
- Must be comfortable refusing service to guests if necessary.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as; lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
