Most of the time spent at work will involve restocking shelves and making local deliveries. Typical shifts are 4-8pm. Applicants must posses a valid NY state driver's license.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Customer Service: Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware of Rome. Assist customers inside and outside the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.Store Operations Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment. Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store. Assist with maintaining back stock levels. Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area. Operate forklift with proper training. Participate in store meetings. Be professional in appearance and actions. Perform deliveries using company vehicles.Other Essential Requirements:Education/TrainingHigh School or GED equivalent.ExperienceFormal retail experience preferred.Physical DemandsStanding, walking, lifting (up to 80lbs) and climbing.Requirements Valid NY state driver's license.
