Job Duties:
- Work closely with Estimating team to develop sales strategy, targeting desired customers/projects, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, maintaining personal relationships and providing excellent service at all times
- Manage estimating and bidding process for all assigned and targeted projects, working with contractors, architects and designers to develop a clear understanding of project scope, bid deadlines, and all job specifications
- Manage quantity take-off process, completing estimates as well as coordinating take-offs with third-party estimators
- Calculate competitive pricing for materials and labor consistent with corporate guidelines
- Submit written proposals to customers in a timely manner
- Proactively and regularly reach out to customers to discuss estimates until work has been awarded
- Generate a minimum of $8MM in sales per year; performance will be reviewed at 6 month intervals
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all internal staff, as well as suppliers, vendors, fabricators, etc.
Requirements Include:
- Advanced working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, MS Office and Outlook
- Highly developed organizational, mathematical, and time management skills
- Proven estimating and sales experience, with strong commitment to maintaining and developing customer relationships
- 5-10 years tile & marble estimating experience in core & shell, interiors, and tenant space in both new construction and interior fit-outs
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting/Finance, Sales/Marketing, or related degree required
