Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Selling the firm s best-in-class European Equity Research product to institutional investors
  • Cultivating client relationships and broadening and deepening BCM's share of wallet
  • Building and attending corporate access roadshows through relationships with clients and/or corporate management teams and contributing to regional conferences
  • Support and advise institutional clients (e.g. insurance firms, investment companies, banks) on the basis of our research products and distribution capabilities
  • Marketing and sales of our equity research product
  • Creation and development of investment ideas for investors
  • Organization of investor meetings for IPOs and other capital market activities
  • Become an integral member of the North American Sales team and take responsibility for the day-to-day service of our existing client network across the North American region
  • Analyze the financial markets and collaborate in the development of investment strategies within the team
  • Provide independent advice and information to institutional clients with regard to current market developments and the discussion of potential investments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree required with a competitive GPA
  • Experience within an investment bank, preferably within an Equity Sales role
  • Enthusiasm and interest in securities and capital markets, with a particular focus on Equities
  • Must understand how to focus and prioritize client needs and requirements
  • Able to deliver a consistently high standard of work, and handle their workload effectively to meet strict deadlines
  • Flexible, adaptable and strong at building relationships
  • Strong communication skills, ability to foster relationships and a tenacious personality
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and goal-oriented approach are important
  • Willingness to obtain requisite licensing qualifications (e.g. Series 7, 57, 63, 79, 86/87 or CFA)
