Associate Teacher - Tutor - Camp Counselor - Coach - High School - K-12 - Teacher's Assistant

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, successful charter school in their search for AssociateTeachers. Associate Teachers are entry-level Teachers who will teach along side a Lead Teacher. Potential for rapid growth and advancement for the right candidates. Positions are available immediately throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx.

This unique school is seeking individuals with a passion and commitment outside of academics. We are NOT looking for a Teacher with years of experience. The perfect candidate is a college graduate with a good GPA who has 1-2 years experience working as a Camp Counselor, Coach, Tutor, Youth Group Leader, Resident Assistant, Research Assistant, Teacher's Assistant at the College level, Graduate Assistant, etc. You will have the knowledge and ability to teach any of the following: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Literature and History to students, grades 1-8.

• Salary: $50,000

Requirements for the Associate Teacher / Entry Level Teacher:

• Bachelor's Degree, and graduating GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Previous experience working with children or students such as: TA, RA, Tutor, Camp Counselor, Daycare Teacher, Nanny/babysitter, Sunday school Teacher, Tutor, or related.
• Excellent communication skills
• Extracurricular involvement in clubs, sports, student engagement, internships, volunteering, etc.
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition for work per company policy
• Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of 2 years.
