Brown, Inc. has a career opportunity available for a motivated Engineering Intern (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or similar Degrees). Our three divisions, Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work.Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:
- Set up and run test support systems and equipment for a variety of structural and dynamics testing, including, but not limited to vibration, transportation, shock, noise, impact, drop, handling, and acceleration. Collection of data utilizing vibration control systems, thermocouples, and accelerators.
- Support of various test set-ups
- Troubleshooting test set-ups
- Operate Thermal Chambers.
- Electrical setups.
- Additional responsibilities may be added.
In this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Must have strong computer skills (CAD, MS Office, etc.), a plus.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; with a focus on customer service.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Must work in a team environment and be a team player.
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
- Understanding of Blueprints/Drawings as well as Military, Aerospace, and Commercial Standards, a plus.
