Duration: 6 month contract - likely extension or full-time employment.
Location: Manhattan, NY (2-3 days per week on site)
Looking for individuals with engineering experience in the energy efficiency sector to support an Energy Efficiency and Demand Management incentive programs in a technical capacity.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing savings analysis calculations on building systems and assemblies.
- Review mechanical and building code requirements.
- Develop and manage processes to review building systems savings analysis.
- Coordinate with contracted vendors to meet project review deadlines.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, Sustainability).
- Three years' work experience in energy efficiency field.
- One year's work experience in heat pump design and/or operation analysis.
- Experience with building energy modeling software.
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Energy Manager certification.
- LEED certification.
- Four years' work experience in energy efficiency field.
- Experience with ground source heat pump design.
- Energy modeling experience (eQuest, TRACE 700, TRACE 3D)
