Hi Everyone, Hope all are doing great. We are having opening for .Net Architect. It's a Multi-year Contract Position. Looking for Independent consultants and Locals to Florida.Role: .Net Architect - Must interview on site in personLocation: Tallahassee, FL ( 5 DAYS ONSITE)Duration: 15+ month contractOverview: As a member of the project team, the Application Architect will lead the design for the technical implementation of the business requirements. The Application Architect will ensure other developers are on task and working to the designated standards. Additionally, the Application Architect will provide programming expertise and services required to complete development of the EFDMS.Great communication and collaboration skills are a must as this individual will work closely with the Team Lead, the application development team, business stakeholders, and management.Tasks/Deliverables:
  • Review requirements and gain a complete understanding of the system.
  • Design and assist with the development of the system, per the documented requirements.
  • Direct the work of other application developers, with coordination with the Team Lead.
  • Perform unit testing and assist with the coordination of system and user acceptance testing.
  • Respond to all issues reported from testing and resolve all items determined to be defects.
  • Aid in release planning and assessment of feature viability and effort.
  • Manage application deployments via DevOps.
  • Lead code reviews, identifying best practices and steps for increased stability and capability.
  • Provide mentorship/assistance to other application developers.
  • Create and maintain documentation surrounding the application architecture, application design process, component integration, and other key elements.
  • Ensure application design and development complies with Chapter 60-8 of the Florida Administrative Code (FAC), Chapter 60-8 of the Florida Administrative Code (FAC), which requires that all State Agencies maintain compliance with accessibility standards based on Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
  • Ensure application design and development adheres to the W3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 with an 'AA' level of conformance. (WCAG 2.1 AA).
Required Experience: Required: Seven or more years of IT work experience, with at least 3-years of experience in architecting applications and leading development efforts utilizing the Microsoft.Net framework, C#, Visual Studio, and DevOps.
  • Experience designing complex web applications.
  • Extensive work experience and knowledge with .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, ADO.Net, Visual Studio, ASMX, WCF, Web API and RESTful services.
  • Extensive work experience and knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery (or other js framework) and AJAX.
  • Experience securing web applications from SQL injection, CSRF and XSS attacks.
  • Experience with Razor, LINQ, Custom Helper Classes.
  • Experience with Bootstrap, Knockout, AngularJS, Kendo, or SASS.
  • Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures and SQL tuning.
  • Hands on experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles and Design Patterns.
  • Experience in delivering fully unit tested code.
  • Experience with Dependency Injection and IOC tools preferred.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Knowledge of Windows Authentication and Web Application login security.
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework (or other unit testing frameworks)
  • Knowledge of agile software development, including SCRUM
  • Knowledge of Web Services (ASMX, WCF, Web API, RESTful services)
  • Knowledge of CSOM and Rest API.
  • Ability to estimate daily tasks and communicate impediments in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret user requirements.
  • Ability to produce code that meets organization's standards.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze problems or requests.
  • Ability to multitask and change focus as required.
  • Ability to get along well with all members and roles on a team.
