What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, install, and manage automation projects.
- Create schedules and budgets to stay organized.
- Architect, write, and debug PLC code with a focus on maintainability and reusability.
- Develop HMI screens for easy operation and troubleshooting of complex automation systems.
- Design electrical systems compliant with industry regulations.
- Availability for travel, including overnight stays (approximately 20% of the time).
What We're Looking For:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1+ years' experience in industrial controls and PLC programming.
- Proficiency in PLC & HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Automation Direct, etc.).
- Experience in process or discrete manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer operation and software applications.
- Experience with electrical schematics (SolidWorks Electrical preferred); familiarity with motion systems, robots, etc. is beneficial.
