Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and outgoing individual to join their team as an Electronic Subassembly Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic subassemblies, and contributing to the creation of electrical and electronic systems using both manual and electrical tools.

Requirements:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Performs various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering.
• Assemble components to create subassemblies or assemblies for electrical and electronic systems, employing hand and electrical tools.
• Sets up equipment and solders components together.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
• One to three months of related experience and/or training is a plus.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Proficiency Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to solder components together
• Apply common sense to execute simple one or two-step instructions.

Computer Skills:

• Experience using a scanner for time and attendance tracking, as well as work traveler documentation.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate must meet the following physical demands:

• Regularly sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, are necessary for this role.
