Manager

Education Programs

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Director in overseeing the training and educational programming of departmental Fellows, rotating Residents and Medical Students.
  • Ensure timely and accurate onboarding and credentialing
  • Serve as a liaison to the directors and administrators of rotating residency programs
  • Coordinate and manage all housing related needs for fellows and rotating residents
  • Manage the departmental online educational learning system
  • Survey electronic medical record data (EPIC) to document and evaluate the trainee clinical educational experience. Assess the data and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Serve as the director for the departments Global Musculoskeletal Health Equity Division (GMHED) program, including organizing meetings with global partners, overseeing program budget and expense reimbursement, facilitating multidisciplinary relationships, and coordinating overseas travel
  • Serve as the administrator for the Healthcare Immersion Program. Plan and direct the event, and organize a multidisciplinary group to facilitate the weekend.
  • Serve as the administrator of the Resuscitation Committee. Create policies and organize training sessions. Ensure compliance with completion of physician ACLS.
  • Partner with the Director in managing and organizing all departmental educational activities (Grand Rounds, Journal Club, etc.). Host the meetings and write/distribute minutes.
  • Manage Department in-services and CME programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Coordinate the monthly Department academic calendar with visiting professors and internal faculty
  • Represent the department on educational committees and at external academic conferences
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum five years of experience in an educational or healthcare setting
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel
Other Requirements:#LI-OnsitePay Range - Minimum:USD $90,000.00/Yr.Pay Range - Maximum:USD $110,000.00/Yr.
