: Job Details :

Beacon Hill Legal's client, a financial institution located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Paralegal for a long-term contract opportunity. The role will require the paralegal to commute onsite daily and is expected to last approximately six months and is paying a rate of $35 per hour. It is anticipated to be a traditional 40 hour work week (Mon-Fri from 8:30-5pm).

Job Responsibilities

• Provides paralegal support for all e-discovery projects, including drafting of cover letters, indexes, and privilege logs.
• Responsible for enacting all administrative functions for e-discovery collection and processing platform (Logikcull) including tracking, collecting of documents, preparation of documents including redacting confidential or proprietary information, and liaison between appropriate parties.
• Coordinate ESI identification, preservation, and collection from custodians, internal repositories, and external sources in coordination with the E-Discovery Staff Attorney or Legal.
• Maintain clear and update chain of custody documentation for all ESI preservation, collection and Assist in collection, organization and maintenance of legal documents.
• Maintain and update litigation hold spreadsheet following receipt of litigation hold notices.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an e-discovery paralegal in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Familiarity with Westlaw, Logikcull or eDiscovery platforms.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office.
