About the Role

Amerex Group is a family-owned midtown Manhattan Apparel Company and one of the largest swimwear and outerwear manufacturers in New York City. Our licensed and owned brands include Kate Spade, Carters, Jessica Simpson, Bleu Rod Beattie, London Fog, and many others. We are currently seeking an experienced E-commerce Specialist to join our team and spearhead our online sales efforts on Amazon and marketplaces. This role is focused on driving sales growth through strategic management of inventory, marketing spend optimization, and crafting compelling product descriptions. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong track record in e-commerce platforms and a knack for analytical thinking.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize our existing product listings across various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Macy s, and Shopify ensuring accuracy and consistency in product information, images, and pricing.
  • Monitor day-to-day inventory levels, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve SKU issues that impact our ability to sell on marketplaces
  • Identify and onboard new sales channels and marketplaces to increase brand visibility and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional strategies for online marketplaces.
  • Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and marketplace performance to make informed decisions and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Manage Ad Campaigns to help target items on marketplaces.
  • Create and maintain regular sales and performance reports using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging e-commerce platforms to inform future strategies and growth.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years overall experience in online marketplace(s), 2+ years of experience working with a brand on Amazon through Seller Central
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and FBA environment
  • Passion for fashion
  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, E-commerce, or a related field of study
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Proficient in Excel must be able to do VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other basic formulas
  • Highly organized, self-starter and self-motivated with teamwork spirit
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity & work across teams to develop clarity
  • Effective prioritization skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend marketplace data and sales analytics
