Job Description:

FUNCTIONS:

eCommerce Strategy, Operations & Performance

Oversee the development and rollout of ongoing eCommerce planning, including marketing activities, gifts with purchases (GWPs), new product launches, merchandising, and other essential activities supporting the brand's direct-to-consumer (D2C) site.

Manage site updates, coordinating the launch of new assets, copy, and offer codes. Perform rigorous quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure updates provide a seamless user experience.

Execute a digital promotion strategy that encompasses special offers and GWPs, ensuring alignment across functions, on-site animations, and comprehensive sales reporting & analytics.

Conceptualize strategic site content and user journey, incorporating visual creativity and commercially driven copy to enhance site engagement and promote conversion. Coordinate comprehensive creative briefs and ensure timely asset delivery.

Analyze business trends, sales, and KPIs to offer recommendations for sales maximization. Engage in frequent reporting and participate in weekly meetings to discuss eCommerce trends and performance insights.

Collaborate with the eCommerce Senior Manager, as well as Design and Tech teams, ensuring the successful implementation of the annual eCommerce project roadmap.

Continually monitor and enhance site user experience (UX), identifying and resolving issues, and leveraging site tools such as Magento, StoryBlok, Content Square, and Algolia for site enhancements.

Keep informed of industry trends and competitor activities to propose innovative improvements for our D2C site.

eCommerce Logistics

Partner with the demand planning team to forecast products/offers accurately.

Oversee web inventory management (retail, GWP, samples) in collaboration with demand planning, warehouse, and IT departments, ensuring stock updates are communicated efficiently within the digital team.

Maintain close collaboration with customer service and demand planning teams to optimize operations and address any logistics concerns effectively.

Omnichannel Strategy

Nurture the omnichannel experience to ensure a best-in-class, seamless online to offline experience between web and boutique.

Assist boutique teams in rolling out commercial activations in-store; sharing programming, developing creative deliverables for new launches/offers, and maintaining digital services: online booking, gift certificate, gift card, etc.

Assist with tech issues related to eCommerce commercial activities as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education/Experience

0-3 years experience in eCommerce or digital marketing role, preferably in the beauty or retail industry

Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field

A strong appetite for eCommerce, technology, and a curiosity for innovation. An understanding of eCommerce best practices

Experience working with an eCommerce platform (Magento is a plus) and Content Management platform (Storyblok is a plus)

Familiarity with SEO best practices

Strong analytical skills with knowledge of PowerBI, Google Analytics and advanced use of Excel is a must.

Work Hours & Location

  • Reports to the Senior E-Commerce Manager, Americas.
  • Available to work Monday through Friday 9:00 am 6:00 pm.
  • Hybrid work schedule office/remote defined by management.
  • Work location is in the corporate office located in New York City.
