**Driver Processing Specialist**

- Driver Processing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Safety department primarily the Driver Processing Team within Cowan Systems LLC. Performing assigned tasks which require accurate entry of sensitive data, phone and in-person communication with Drivers and Customers and processing of documents.

**Job Duties:**

* Process driver applications and input information into Tenstreet database

* Driver processing - Researching applicants for driving positions

* Daily communication and collaboration with Cowan Safety department

* Scan important documents and follow SOP to provide vendor with documents to be filed for compliance

* Answer phone calls for department and transfer to appropriate personnel

* Able to work both independently and within a team

* Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions

* Ability to multitask and organize information to accurately update team on current information

* Verifying information, report ordering and vendor communication

* Coordinate testing for drivers and working with web based programs

* Review Motor vehicle records to ensure accuracy

* Scanning documents, using office equipment

* Making sure all forms meet compliance standards

**Job Qualifications/Requirements:**

* Proficient using MS Office (word, excel & outlook)

* Excellent communication (written & verbal) and organizational skills

* Detail oriented, accurate, and strong problem solving skills

* Ability to learn quickly and perform tasks without micromanagement
