Performs maintenance and inspections of Center's facilities and systems to ensure functionality and prevent disruption of student and staff services.Completes, tracks and documents work status and notifies supervisor of issues and concerns.Provides students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.Provides quality services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursues improvement and enhancement of requisite services.Identifies problems, analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact corrected.Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.QualificationsDriver Qualifications Include:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer previous experience working with youth. Must possess and maintain a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements. CDL is strongly preferred.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.Adams and Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned company, subcontracted to run Job Corps Centers under the guidance of the DOL.
