Position Overview:

The Division Facilities Manager (DFM) is responsible for managing, facilitating, and reporting on all branch related maintenance and minor projects in the assigned Division (~350 locations). The DFM will work with local and national vendors to ensure each project/maintenance ticket is completed in a timely and cost-effective method through ticketing and vendor RFP systems. The DFM will be based in the West Division and be managed by the Director, Construction as part of the Real Estate team.

Functions & Responsibilities

  • Manage all Branch maintenance requests utilizing a third-party CMMS service. Branches may email or call requests to the DFM who will enter them into CMMS.
  • Verify maintenance responsibilities per lease agreements. DFM will contact Landlords on all lease obligations and follow up with them until the work is complete or manage the work with 3rd party vendors if SiteOne is the responsible party per the lease.
  • Assist the Director, Construction with minor construction and maintenance projects.
  • Attend Project Meetings as needed.
  • Manage 3rd party vendor network utilizing an RFP process managed by the Real Estate team.
  • Value Engineer and provide feedback on maintenance and minor construction projects.
  • Complete site surveys to include Matterport scans and drone photos.
  • Assist with property surrender inspections and repairs.
  • Travel as required to meet business needs.
  • Other essential duties and responsibilities as needed.
Skills We Are Seeking::
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial construction and design, along with a demonstrated proficiency in estimating construction projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction codes, environmental impacts/regulations and safety protocols
  • Knowledge of permitting requirements and coordination through government entities.
  • Management and supervision experience with 3rd party vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Comprehensive computer skills including MS Office software and design/construction software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Five to Eight years of industry specific experience
  • Five to Eight years of experience managing businesses locally, regionally, or nationally
  • Five to Eight years experience as a project manager or relevant role
  • Three to Five years of construction management software experience preferred
  • Five to Eight years experience with 3rd party RFP creation and bid leveling
  • Five to Eight years experience with budgets and forecasting
