**Insp?r Senior Living, Maplewood Senior Livings new brand of world-class, urban senior living properties, is now hiring Dishwashers for its new Insp?r Carnegie Hill property. Insp?r Carnegie Hill is located on the Upper East Side and stands 23 stories with 215 residential units. It offers assisted living, enhanced care and memory care with a unique and innovative Integrated Care Model. **Hiring for full-time position for Dishwasher**

**The Dishwasher Role:** Performs a variety of food service functions in maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food services, facilities, and equipment, including the removal of all garbage, operation of dishwasher and three compartment sink, leaving machinery empty, clean and dry , and floors clean after each meal.

* Responsible for the proper washing of china, flatware, glassware and other kitchen equipment including machine rinse pressure and water temperature to meet sanitation guidelines

* Maintains the kitchen and other assigned area in a sanitary manner

* Establishes and maintains constructive working relationships with coworkers and residents

* Retrieves garbage and recyclables as needed

* Maintains the compactor room and place garbage curb side for pick up daily as required

* May be required to help with inventory and maintenance as well food deliveries and shelve stock

* Participates in on-going in-service and training requirements

* Carries out other duties as assigned

**Education/Experience/Licensure/Requirements:**

* High School diploma or equivalent required

* Experience and passion in working with seniors

* Able to convey and understand information and ideas in English

* Be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

* Work well in stressful, high pressure situations and be able to maintain composure and objectivity

* Be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents and guests

* Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members

* Must be authorized to legally work in the United States. Criminal background check required

**All candidates will be required to show valid proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 before commencing work or commit to obtaining full vaccination within 30 days of commencing work, unless they receive an approved exemption from Maplewood. Maplewood will require unvaccinated candidates to obtain their first dose prior to commencing work and then obtaining a second dose with in thirty days after the first dose. Those who do not obtain full vaccination within that time frame, without an approved exemption, will be terminated.**
