Start Date: ImmediateReports to: VP of Services Job Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $105-$120kThis is a unique opportunity to join a growing digital agency in a leadership position for a critical practice area of Performance Marketing. BeaconDigital Marketing is looking for someone who thrives in flexible environments, can work remotely to manage projects and deliverables, and can lead a strong team committed to delivering outstanding services to our clients.Our clients are primarily sophisticated B2B companies offering complex services and products to senior leaders in enterprise companies, including cyber security, fintech, professional services, and technical software platforms. Therefore our team members must be comfortable interacting with C-level executives and speaking and writing to an educated corporate buyer.This is a full-time position with working hours of 9am-6pm EST, but may require occasional nights and weekends for specific clients. There is significant room for professional growth in this role over the next two to three years.Key Responsibilities
    • Manage and build a team. Oversee a group of high-performing, specialized full-time and freelance talent in paid media, data analytics, and reporting. Continually evaluate team skill sets, encourage and mentor growth, and identify new partners and freelancers to fill gaps. Maintain and improve platform management, optimization, and strategy development processes. Bring new services to market, assess software tools, and other key areas of performance marketing.
    • Lead paid media client engagements. Act as the senior-most subject-matter expert (SME) for all digital advertising strategy and deliverables. Manage strategy, execution, and analysis for the agency's largest clients, managing and consulting on monthly spends of 10k and above across Google Ads (search, display, YouTube), LinkedIn, Facebook, Programmatic (native/display), Direct placements, and emerging ad platforms such as Spotify, TikTok, and Reddit. Conduct on-going management and optimization for client campaigns with a focus on performance against goals, incorporating new strategy and tactics, and budget management. Troubleshoot issues related to performance, ad delivery, and other related areas.
    • Lead campaign reporting & data analysis deliverables. We deliver weekly and quarterly reporting and insights to our clients, at different intervals and depths depending on the client scope. In your capacity as head of Performance Marketing, you'll help oversee the delivery of these reports each month, with the assistance of a team, and evaluate the tools we use, the way we deliver data, and drive continuous improvements in our delivery. You will work closely with analytics teams to ensure all campaigns have the right tracking implemented to properly measure success.
    • Develop new business. Partner with the CEO and Sales team to scope Performance Marketing engagements, advising prospects on our capabilities and executing or overseeing the execution of audits and research to help sell engagements. Work with the Account Management team to scope add-on engagements for existing clients when Paid Media services are needed.
    • Create thought leadership. As a senior leader in our company, you'll be responsible for contributing to our reputation as a thought leader in digital advertising. This could take the form of writing for our blog, contributions to Linkedin, appearing on podcasts or guest posting on popular forums. Our marketing and sales team will provide ample support to help elevate and promote your ideas and contributions to the industry.
Requirements
    • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
    • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising and paid media, preferably in an agency setting, and with a focus on Paid Search.
    • 3+ years of experience in developing and presenting paid media strategy to clients in an agency setting.
    • Highly detail-oriented with experience in paid search, paid social, and programmatic campaign strategy and execution.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with experience in developing and communicating regularly reporting to clients.
    • At least one certification at a major ad platform, such as Google Ads, Facebook, or other.
    • Experience utilizing Hubspot or other automation platforms to both integrate and analyze paid media campaigns.
    • Strong familiarity with Basis, Salesforce Ad Studio, and other AdTech platforms.
    • Working knowledge of Google Data Studio and related analytics tools to measure, benchmark, and measure success of campaigns.
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
