Piper Maddox is partnering with an exciting clean energy developer who owns and operates Battery Energy Storage Projects and other technologies in major US cities. This opportunity will offer a chance to work on some of the most complex projects in the business and do so alongside a dynamic and mission-driven team of individuals.

The business has received a large debt financing and is backed by one of the largest private equity firms. They have a strong pipeline and some great goals for the next 3 years putting a massive focus on strengthening local power infrastructure.

They are currently looking for a Director of Project Finance to report to the CFO and support the growth and strategy of their Project Finance team, you will be responsible for the execution of capital transactions for their portfolio of projects.

Required Experience

• We are ideally looking for someone with 8+ years of experience in project finance within the renewable energy industry.
• Experience and drive to be hands-on, especially in modeling for tax equity and debt financing.
• Experience working with financial providers on due diligence, terms sheets, and negotiations.
• Someone with a strong executive presence and desire to work closely with C-Suite and outside partners.
• Experience leading and growing a team.
