What is our Director of Operations Role?
As a Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the efficiency, organization, and productivity of our warehouse and business operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse team with key responsibilities including; team leadership, inventory management, process improvement, hiring and training, resource management, performance monitoring and budgetary oversight.

Position Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and order fulfillment.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
Train, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, including setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and improve workflow.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports.
Lead company s technology integrations including configuring and managing connections and providers of APIs, EDI, and related systems.
Manage vendor relationships, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, resolving discrepancies, and optimizing freight costs.
Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions to address operational inefficiencies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover, and take proactive measures to meet or exceed targets.
Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and operational costs, and present findings to senior management.
General Requirements/Qualifications:
5+ years of warehousing or related experience.
5+ years of using warehouse management software.
Managed teams of 10+ employees.
Attention to detail.
Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Ability to work independently and in a group setting
