The Director of Marketing will develop and manage the marketing team for an intimate apparel company. This position oversees marketing efforts across wholesale channels, e-commerce platforms, and online marketplaces. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the intimate apparel industry, digital marketing strategies, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop consumer marketing campaigns
- Perform market analysis, providing consumer insights and thought on trends, opportunities and limitations of potential, new and/or ongoing marketing strategies drive the analytical thought processes behind our content strategies
- Build strong partnerships with Design, Merchandising & Sales teams to drive marketing efforts, cohesive marketing and communication tools needed to drive incremental sales, and digital communication/outreach.
- Project management for all marketing efforts for different Brands.
- Responsible for keeping Designs vision of a brand focused and intact across all outlets and media.
- Company Liaison for Licensors Marketing.
- Coordinate, track and gain approval of all projects
- Develop marketing collateral, and follow through print execution and distribution.
- Develop and launch tests to increase productivity and measure and communicate campaign results.
- Optimize the flow of requests from business partners like Licensees and Sales.
- Own yearly Marketing Calendar on a timely and efficient manner for each brand.
- Oversee execution of content for all websites, e-commerce, e-mail updates and directives, and all social media for all brands.
- Arrange, coordinate and manage arrangements for models and photo shoots.
- Actively participate in market week, or with accounts supporting Merchandising and Sales in driving marketing strategy and ensuring marketing strategies, programs and investments align with brands vision
- Ensure appropriate Marketing & PR investment tracking
- Manage Marketing Annual Plan budgets. File and reconcile invoices by market
- Keep track and information up to date for all Trademarks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in marketing, preferably fashion & retail background (or related industry); luxury brand experience a plus
- 10+ years managing marketing teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and e-commerce best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data trends.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong computer skills required (Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop)
