The Momofuku Goods Director of Logistics and Warehouse takes the overall Third-Party Logistics (3PL) ecosystem to the next level by analyzing, building, executing, and tracking the 3 year strategic logistics roadmap. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in managing a complex 3PL warehouse network with a goal to lower storage and fulfillment cost while achieving the same service level on order fulfillment turnaround. This person will possess the logistics expertise to assess the ocean freight market and carrier network to negotiate contract lanes that drive transportation cost savings. The ideal candidate has the ability to flex up to look at strategies & skills to roll up their sleeves and execute the day-to-day responsibilities in keeping pickups and deliveries on time. A strong communicator with skills to develop strong partnerships with external vendors while proactively keeping cross functional teams appraised on issues, resolutions, and wins. The Director of Logistics and Warehouse will report to the VP of Operations.
Compensation Band: $140,000 - $170,000 annually

Responsibilities
* Pull and analyze data to assess current 3PL warehouse and logistics network to develop and execute a 3yr roadmap that delivers cost savings
* Partner with VP of Ops to develop Logistics and Warehouse yearly budget to meet company growth plans
* Manage, organize, and direct a Customer Service (CS) and logistics team to ensure KPI's are met
* Develop, track, and present monthly CS and logistics related KPI's during company-wide meetings
* Monitor 3PL Warehouse inbound and order fulfillment performance to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA's) is met
* Lead monthly 3PL calls with warehouses to close gaps and track continuous improvement commitments
* Establish a reliable freight network to optimize across cost and dependability for on time pick up and delivery
* Process all shipping documents in company system to ensure proper billing
* Ensure the 3PL meets industry standards and compliances
* Oversee day-to-day carrier activities and troubleshoot carrier issues, when necessary and pickup deliveries are OT
* Execute when needed the Ocean Freight activities to minimize lead time from factory to warehouse
* Evaluate ocean freight network to optimize drayage time and deliver swift resolutions on port holds, issues to minimize demurrage and other charges
* Lead and grow the CS and logistics team by setting clear goals and removing roadblocks
Required Qualifications
* 7+ years experience in Logistics (first-mile and last-mile) + 3PL Warehouse Experience
* 5+ years experience in leading a logistics + warehouse team
* 3+ years experience in Ocean Freight + International Freight experience
* Freight Carrier Lane Contract negotiating experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* 3PL Warehouse Contract negotiating experience
* Proven experience in building solid 3PL Warehouse partnerships resulting in efficiencies across cost and fulfillment workflow optimization
* Comfortable presenting in front of group + leadership team with analysis + KPI metrics
* A leader with low-ego and do-what-it-takes attitude
Preferred Requirements
* 10+ years experience in Logistics + 3PL Warehouse Management
* 7+ years of people management experience
* Ambient + Cold Chain Logistics experience
* Knowledge in system integration between OMS / EDI / ERP (Netsuite knowledge)
* Ability to quickly establish credibility across an organization and display solid judgment on right size solutions
* Team leader with proven experience to coach individuals to reach their potential
