The Senior Director of Human Resourceswill be responsible for partnering with employees, at all levels, to deliver proactive HR solutions to meet strategic business needs, while fostering a climate of trust and commitment.

The Senior Directorof Human Resources will work with business leaders on strategic initiatives including performance management, talent management, career development, employee engagement, retention, compensation planning, learning and development and other employee programs.

Back to the role:

What you will do:
  • You will plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention and company culture.
  • Administer and oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, career development; compensation; recognition, morale; occupational health and safety; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations.
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations, answering employee queries, sending employee focused communications, following up on compliance for employee programs, and employee development programing.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure the most effective organizational structure is in place and that each employee has role clarity as the organization grows and changes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers around all aspects of performance management including annual appraisals, goal setting, and compensation planning.
  • Lead organizational change management initiatives and support leaders with employee communication.
  • Consult with senior leadership, hiring managers and talent acquisition partners to ensure the business is optimally staffed and support the interview process as needed.
  • Ensure company policies, processes and programs are aligned and effectively implemented.
  • Support Learning & Development efforts across the company including leading and developing training classes.
  • Implement and administer other human resource functions including, career progression, compensation planning and employee recognition programs.
What you should have:
  • 8-10+ years of experience working in a Human Resources function.
  • History of evaluating and implementing sophisticated HR programs and initiatives across organizations with distinct cultures and geographies.
  • Demonstrated background in performance management, employee relations, employee engagement & retention, compensation planning & analysis and leadership development.
  • Experience creating strong partnerships with leaders and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Superb communication skills, the ability to simply translate Human Resources requirements and theories into business language.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • The ability to conceptualize and evaluate information to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of federal and local employment laws.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources Management
  • SPHR Certification desired.
Salary Range:

$120,000-$140,000 annually Depending on experience.
