When you join PPGNY as The Director of Health Information Management you will help plan, organizes, and manages all operations of Health Information Management for PPGNY, working in collaboration with all Departments to ensure the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of medical records.
The H.I.M. Director supervises and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in analyzing, compiling, coding, indexing, and filing permanent medical records of patients. Review records for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards. Prepares statistical reports and compilations of PPGNY s health information activities. This position works in close partnership and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete records.
