Director of Climate Strategy

Enzo Advisors is currently hiring a director with deep expertise in climate research and GHG modeling.

Looking for someone well versed in helping clients define and achieve long-term energy reduction targets (e.g., setting and developing a roadmap for science-based targets) and with familiarity in calculating carbon footprints.

This individual should demonstrate a solid understanding of key climate-related topics relevant today in the energy transition (e.g., carbon footprinting; carbon pricing; renewables), have an understanding of the major clean technologies being discussed in the market today (e.g., electric vehicles; carbon capture technologies), and have solid technical understanding and know-how of calculating GHG footprints (Scope 1 - 3) in Excel.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• GHG Accounting At least 5 years of performing inventories of Scopes 1, 2, and 3 for small to large-cap public and / or private corporations with complex / global supply chains from a wide array of sectors
• LCA / Product Carbon Footprinting Analysis - Familiarity with running a lifecycle assessment / carbon footprinting analysis for companies
• ESG Research / Corporate Sustainability - At least 5 years of working with organizations to develop climate related disclosures, including TCFD, CDP responses, and other climate disclosures commonly seen in sustainability reporting and filings
• Experience with climate accounting and strategy-related software is a plus.
• Experience with EU regulation frameworks is a plus.

Candidate MUST also have strong Excel skills to apply and be able to develop concise presentations to communicate results to clients. Candidate must also be able to manage multiple tasks / deadlines and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Position is 100% remote BUT must be legally authorized in the US.
