Job Description:
The Manager of Demand Planning will own the planning process in the S&OP cycle and drive accurate and timely sales forecasting. This individual needs to bring strong analytical skills to build and maintain necessary tools and models, and will also work closely and collaboratively across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and the Executive Team to build consensus.*Client Details*Client is a revolutionary/innovative skincare company that has been around for over 60 years. The are known for their collaborations with dermatologists to create hypoallergenic skincare formulations.*Description** Lead the demand planning process to provide an accurate monthly sales forecast that supports customer service requirements while minimizing inventory levels* Work with key all stakeholders in the Demand Consensus Process including Sales Managers, 3rd Party agencies, customers, Finance and Supply Planner* Active leader in the S&OP forecast process, responsible for building and aligning 18-month forecast by SKU based on sales and marketing plan input with Key Performance metric of Unit forecast accuracy* Lead the annual Sales planning process to inform that company's annual budget* Identify and implement lean processes and tools to improve demand planning metrics and processes.* Capture any Risk and Opportunities that accompany the consensus demand plan, manage with the cross-functional stakeholders to ensure they deliver the plan* Continually review consensus forecasts and discuss changes/assumption accordingly to align with a recommended 18-month demand plan* Develop forecasts for new product rollouts, product transitions and product discontinuations and like item performance* Analyze and track retailer inventory positions to understand implications for orders and sales forecasts.*Profile*The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in supply chain and customer planning techniques, curious, insightful and enjoys solving problems.* Bachelor's Degree preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance* 5+ years of Demand Planning experience or relevant work experience* Expertise in Demand Planning software* Experience in the CPG industry*Job Offer*Competitive Compensation + BenefitsFlexible Working Environment - Hybrid 3x a weekHigh Level Exposure to Senior ExecutivesAbility to join an innovative team and deliver value added activitiesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
