Job Type Full-timeDescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and units sold targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities (new markets, partners, channels, and customers). Research, identify, and implement plans for entering new markets. Propose strategic partnerships, identify sponsorship opportunities, and expand the profile and reach of the company and its brand.
  • Collaborate with executive management to set S.M.A.R.T. business development objectives, a comprehensive sales strategy, and KPI targets for the sales department.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company, across all work functions. Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Fulfill requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance and interpretation of sales related analytics and reports (inclusive of but not limited to sales, orders, POS, category reviews, and market dynamics).
  • Partner with the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing to Interview, and hire team members.
  • Partner with other departments to optimize sales processes.
  • May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the daily work of sales and sales support team members.
  • Routinely provide constructive performance feedback to team members. Perform corrective counseling as needed.
  • Lead, mentor, guide and motivate sales, and consumer services team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports after initial onboarding and annually.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred, MBA a plus.
  • 5-10 years sales or marketing experience.
  • 3-5 years supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge of OTC products and private label sector.
  • Lead generation, and market penetration experience.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of time.
Salary Description $125,000 Base + Commissions / Target $245,000
