We are currently hiring for a Direct Support Professional, to work within our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency. As a Direct Support Professional, you would be responsible for:

• Assisting, providing and promoting independence in individuals daily treatment, care and services
• Administering medications accurately and in accordance with agency policy and procedures
• Maintaining a current knowledge base of the population served by the agency s mission and their physical, health and emotional related needs
• This position is expected to respect the individual s personal choice, lifestyles and their dignity to make decisions for themselves

Direct Support Professional Minimum Salary: $15.30/hour or $16.30/hour *starting rate is determined by program assigned*

Direct Support Professional Maximum Salary: $16.50/hour or $17.50/hour **once all required trainings have been completed**

Direct Support Professional Schedule: Full-time and part-time, morning, evening, and awake overnight shifts available

**The training requirements are 5 days of Orientation, SCIP CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration Certification, including successful completion of medication pours. All of these trainings are paid and hosted by Catholic Charities Disabilities Services.

We offer a $1.50/hour differential for any hours worked between 3pm Friday and 7am Monday

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• All employees must consent to a full criminal background check and fingerprinting
