Digital Production Developer (71101) Location: Brooklyn Description: The Digital Production Developer role is designed for someone proficient in the technical aspects of digital fabrication technologies and eager to broaden their knowledge by creating innovative workflows and refining data analysis systems. This critical position within our organization combines managing digital fabrication facilities with leading development projects that push the limits of digital manufacturing and design workflows. The successful candidate will oversee a portion of the daily operations of the ITL, ensuring equipment is maintained, safety protocols are followed, and projects are completed to the highest standard. In addition to operational duties, this role requires a proactive approach to development, involving research into new fabrication technologies, materials, and methods that can enhance the lab's productivity, creativity, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a forward-thinking mindset. They should have a strong background in digital fabrication technologies, experience in project management, and a track record of innovation in a similar role. Salary, Benefits, and Faculty Support: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $75,000-80,000.
