Be an early applicant +7 benefits Be an early applicant +7 benefits Be an early applicant +8 benefits Marc Fisher Footwear is seeking a **Desktop Support Specialist** to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organizations desktop computing environment. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, quick learner with strong problem-solving skills. The desktop support specialist will provide technology related support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness.

**Responsibilities:**

* Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance

* Troubleshooting problem areas (in person, virtually, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance.

* Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner

* Configure, support and perform routine maintenance of hardware and software for desktops (PC/Laptop)

* Provide basic LAN/WAN/VPN support

* Install and upgrade software

* Build and deploy PCs and Laptops

* Assist with evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies and applications

* Record all client inquiries, from initial call to incident resolution

* Maintain records of hardware, software and network inventory

* Participate in on call rotation

* Additional responsibilities as needed

**Job Requirements:**

* Bachelors Degree and/or related courses/certifications required

* Specialist in Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft IT Support Certification a plus

* Proficient in O/S and hardware support, remote connectivity experience and mobile device management a plus

* Working experience with Citrix applications or Mac O/S a plus

* Excellent Communication and problem-solving skills

* Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, audio/visual equipment and business applications
