We remain committed to complete compliance with all policies and procedures essential to the success of each project large, small and everything in between.Job descriptions:The Deputy Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the Alexader Hamilton Custom House. This includes managing the on-site staff, overseeing major and minor projects and alteration services, and ensuring that the building is operating efficiently and safely.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the on-site staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance.
  • Oversee major and minor projects and alteration services, including developing and managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that the building is operating efficiently and safely, including developing and implementing maintenance plans, inspecting building systems and equipment, and responding to emergencies.
  • Review and comment on Design Intent Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and some cost estimating.
  • Manage major and/or minor project and alteration services for the Contractor.
  • Create bid specifications for one-time deferred maintenance issues for roofs, asphalt and concrete repair, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
  • Provide full oversight and management of commissioning, architectural and engineering design services, and implementation for complex construction projects.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) in Engineering Design or Construction.
  • Proficient in reviewing and commenting on Design Intent Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and some cost estimating.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
