Overview:

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist in our Family Dental Group- Fishkill office to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in ateam-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.

Pay- $48-$50/hour

Schedule: Part-Time Monday and Wednesday 9A-5P and Friday 8A-4P.

We have been working diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have all the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.

Essential Responsibilities

  • As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in improving the oral health of our patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about dental care and dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care at all times.
  • The Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene treatment, care, and education in accordance with state-approved guidelines and regulations.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
  • Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Desired Skills:

  • Must have an active Hygiene license for the state you are applying to.
