Debt Capital Markets, Private Placements - Analyst
- Assist in the origination, documentation, marketing and execution of private placement transactions for Australian, New Zealand, UK and US clients across multiple sectors
- Conduct market, industry, economic and company research and analysis to facilitate strategy recommendations for clients
- Participate in client and investor meetings
- Assist in the coordination of roadshows
- Provide pricing, capital markets updates and investor analyses for clients
- Work closely with the private placement and other Corporate Finance North America teams to enhance National Australia Bank s product offerings
- Draft client pitches and periodic industry newsletters and reports
- Maintain transaction database, master pitch book and other marketing templates
- Coordinate with various global offices to facilitate client presentations, pricing requests, internal idea generation and other ad hoc requests
- Develop relationships and knowledge of the market s investor universe
- Start date immediate
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a business-related discipline
- 0-2 years of prior work experience in a related position with preference for investment banking, credit analysis and capital markets
- Candidate will need to become Series 63 and 79 licensed (if not so already) within 120 days of the commencement of their role
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in an entrepreneurial and small-team environment
- Strong writing, analytical, quantitative and organizational skills (writing sample required)
- Strong technical/computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of business, economics and/or finance through education or experience
