Job Description:

Title: Sales Operations - Deal Desk Specialist

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience as part of Deal Desk Support and /or field Sales Operations support organization is required. Successful track record in negotiations and deal management.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Skills:

  • supporting operations in a Lead to Cash environment. Having a finance / accounting operations background is preferred.
  • with Accruals, Credit memos, Budgeting, Deal desk, Pricing.
  • in using tools CRM/CPQ tools like Salesforce sales cloud, creating Salesforce reports.
  • in using collaboration and productivity tools: Google docs, pivot tables / VLOOKUP s.
  • communication and interpersonal skills
  • oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Roles & responsibilities:

  • for the execution of the sales process from quote, through contract negotiations, to closing - ensuring alignment with business objectives and policies.
  • with sales team, both direct and indirect team, in negotiating the terms of the contract and the price in accordance with the internal policies of the client.
  • all necessary information and documentation for finance and business leader reviews.
  • a comprehensive overview of each deal, highlighting key terms and potential impact.
  • Channel Partner Manager on lead qualification and enrichment - with the existing tools and infrastructure in Salesforce.
  • timely lead qualification and update/ maintain accurate information in Salesforce.
  • task management tools to create and monitor timelines for each deal stage.
  • identify and address potential bottlenecks to keep deals on schedule.
  • define and maintain SLAs for responses to internal and external stakeholders (sales team, Resellers & distributors)
  • simple SQL queries and pull actuals data from distributor reports.
  • data between HIVE (database), Salesforce and other reports to determine eligibility for deal registrations and other promotions.
  • questions from Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance on the reconciled data and help address issues on incentives, rebates, and payments.
  • a report on an agreed cadence to highlight and prioritize issues and bring closure.
  • Salesforce reports and analytics to extract insights and trends related to deal performance.
  • data to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
  • participate in post-deal analysis to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • and implement process enhancements to optimize the deal management workflow.
