- Analysis, design, coding, performance tuning, migration of data and implementation of database solutions using PostgreSQL
- Evaluation, maintenance, and enhancement of existing processes, stored procedures, and functions, load and performance tuning of existing procedures
- Data analysis, produce ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
- Create documentation for applications and processes
- Daily triage of bugs and tasks
Skills:
- 4-5+ years working as a database developer working with MySQL/SQL Server/PostgreSQL
- 1+ years working experience of PostgreSQL is a must
- Expertise in stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Ability to create normalized/de-normalized database schemas
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Devops and creating / promoting code through CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in AWS development like Lambda functions, Python and glue job
Desired Skills:
- Experienced in the full System Development Life Cycle (Dev, Test, Prod)
- Should be experienced in executing migration projects.
- Experienced in Cloud based Database - Dynamo DB
- Writing and executing Unix shell scripts
