Job Description:
The Data Steward is responsible for maintaining the quality of data in the firm's customer relationship management (CRM) system, InterAction. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Data Steward will ensure that information in the CRM conforms to standard formatting; research and resolve discrepancies; manage updates and merges, and eliminate duplicate contacts; provide support for InterAction end users; and work on special projects as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify that new database entries are accurate and are formatted per firm data standards
  • Resolve duplicate entries, check for errors
  • Process data change management tickets
  • Process returned mail, bounced emails, research and update addresses
  • Research and verify company mergers, name changes, office relocations
  • Assist with maintenance and development of marketing lists
  • Generate searches and reports for targeted groups and industrial verticals
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Solid understanding of Windows desktop applications
  • Data management and data manipulations skills. Proficiency with MS Excel highly desired
  • Attention to detail, proofreading and internet research skills. General knowledge of corporate structures preferred
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a passion for data analysis
  • Commitment to adhering to firm standards, best practices and confidentiality
  • Availability to work overtime
Education and Experience
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Computer Sciences or other related fields
  • 1 - 3 years of experience
This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
