Sr. Data Scientist (Measurement) (Foursquare Labs, Inc., New York, NY)Multiple positions available. Design and implement causal inference models to measure conduct lift measurements. Design and implement attribution model to scientifically assign credits to each marketing channel to help clients drive more actionable insights. Leverage machine learning models to predict the lifetime value to help clients better optimize their marketing campaigns in the long term. Conduct deep dive data analysis to drive insights and recommendations. Monitor data quality and normalize data from massive sources to apply the best data in our measurement solution. Analyze experiments to communicate the statistical insights and help business moving fast with higher confidence. Provide triage support and pre-production solutions for clients utilizing knowledge in data science concepts and techniques across the disciplines of applied statistics and machine learning. Communicate with team members using data visualization for effectively sharing insights found in data with stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering teams and other Data Science groups on methodology development and research ahead of production implementations. Support pre-production client Data Science needs and triage. Collaborate cross-team cooperation and mentor junior scientists. Position allows for telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $134,000 to $228,000 per year.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, plus 2 years of professional experience as a Statistical Analyst, Data Analyst, Research Scientist, or any occupation/position/job title involving data analysis for product development. Must also have experience in the following: 2 years of professional experience collaborating with engineering teams on implementing or deploying large scale data processing pipelines; 2 years of professional experience with Big Data (including analysis, modeling, and applied statistics) to build supervised and unsupervised learning systems; 2 years of professional experience utilizing statistical, analytic software to answer complex business problems (including R, Python, and SQL); 2 years of professional experience driving feature engineering and experimentation to improve the performance of algorithms; and 2 years of professional experience building internal tools for monitoring and investigation purposes.CONTACT: Please submit resume online at: or email resume to ...@foursquare.com.
