We have partnered with a leading insurance firm, to source a forward thinking Data Analytics Leader. This is an opportunity to collaborate with the Chief Data & Analytics Officer in the firms' ongoing evolution.
The firm has a hybrid model, two days in office per week, and at this stage cannot sponsor or transfer visas.
Who are we looking for?

- Someone who is analytically driven and intellectually curious, who has previously led the development and implementation of data and analytic solutions to solve real world business problems.
- A collaborator - someone who wants to work closely with our Data Science team to solve tricky problems with AI/ML

- Someone who is happy working in a multi-disciplinary team including data engineers, business analysts, software developers and business leaders.
What do we need?
- Master's degree with 10+ years of experience in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied mathematics or related subject
- Deep understanding of data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their advantages/drawbacks.
- Demonstrated track records in experimental design and execution
- Strong programming with Python plus a solid background in algorithms
- Superb communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and other areas
- Comfort working and speaking at both the leadership and hands-on level
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with superb attention to detail
- Proven technical leadership to data scientists and strong management skills
Expected base compensation circa $190,000
