Location: Hybrid | New York

An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing start-up on a mission to achieve a 360 ecosystem that empowers upstream and downstream circularity initiatives for 300+ brands globally. They are now looking for a Customer Success Manager with a background in technology and sustainability to join their team.

In addition to defining and executing strategic development plans for customer engagement, retention, and growth, you will play a crucial part in strengthening their position as a leading sustainability solutions provider for the consumer packaged goods industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a true business partner for your accounts, understand their needs and how their technology offerings could help them reach their goal. Develop and execute a comprehensive retention and growth strategy for your customer portfolio.
  • This involves collaborating with the Sales team to lead the onboarding process for new customer and continuously improving onboarding procedures.
  • Own and actively nurture crucial customer relationships globally to ensure consistent high-quality value-added experiences; and streamline our processes by creating playbooks.
  • Identify key accounts within your portfolio and craft engagement strategies to enhance retention through high-touch communications on existing products.
  • Drive customer delight by enabling omni-channel brand storytelling, creating a compelling and consistent brand narrative for their partnership.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to enable product investments that address core customer pain points and drive impact. Deliver beta and alpha pilots for nascent stage product offerings to onboarded customers, providing them with early access to new features and functionalities, and gathering feedback to drive product improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Grow your account revenue by seeking opportunity to upsell, aligning seamlessly with the growth strategy and driving referrals. Enable our land-and-expand strategy by cross-selling technology offering customers onto their other offerings to create impact.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in corporate/business partnerships, customer experience/success, business development, or related roles. Experience within early stage SaaS start-ups or within sustainability space of CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sector is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with sustainability leaders, international CPG brands, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to identify trends and gaps in business development, diagnose challenges, and devise effective solutions.
  • Ability to build analytical dashboards using CRM tools like HubSpot to assess efficiency and compliance, and propose meaningful metrics throughout the sales pipeline to facilitate decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to build empathetic and trusted relationships, both within the organization and externally.
  • Strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic, with expertise in key project management tools such as Asana, Moxo (optional), HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating skills such as rapid prototyping, resourcefulness, creative problem-solving, and sound evaluative judgment.
