We are seeking an experienced Customer Care Agent and ZenDesk guru to join our team.

The ideal candidate cares about delivering best-in-class customer service and works well under pressure. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, efficient, discrete, objective, professional, and who has a strong passion for customer experience. This person should:

* Become familiar with all platforms used within Customer Care through company led-learning and self-learning.

* Answer customer emails regarding various issues including returns, shipping, order status, product care and sizing advice, and other inquiries.

* Be proactive with follow up both internally and externally when customer needs arent being met.

* Assist customers with finding solutions that might be out of the box.

* Meet customer service KPIs.

* Coordinate with other departments (Operations, Logistics, Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail) to ensure customer needs are expressed and considered.

* Advocate for the customer within the organization, clearly communicate the customers needs, and present solutions.

* Monitor our various support inboxes (outside of our ticketing system) to ensure no customer inquiries have gone into the SPAM folder.

* Be a Brand Ambassador both inside and outside of the organization.

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role in a call center or customer service center in retail or hospitality.

* Familiarity with one or more customer service email or ticketing platforms. (Experience in ZenDesk is a huge plus.)

* Maintain a positive and energetic attitude even when managing challenging customer inquiries.

* Basic familiarity with handling sensitive customer data, or a basic familiarity with customer service fraud prevention practices.

* Be able to comfortably work on a computer for long periods of time during business hours and remain focused in an open-office environment.

* Escalate any customer issues that become repetitive and create friction within the customer experience to the Director of Customer Care.

* Speak and write well in American English.

* Be able to switch tasks easily and perform to high standards in a dynamic environment.

* Be flexible with work hours and stay later if needed or log on over weekends as the business requires it.

* Exercise discretion with customer information and internal information.

* Be organized and work well independently but also able to work on a team to execute customer-driven solutions.

* Be comfortable in a start-up environment and easily adaptable to daily business changes.
