Job Overview
The custodian/Baler maintains the cleanliness of our manufacturing facility; including keeping allproduction areas and isles free from any clutter by constantly sweeping of areas. Operates our balers in our efforts to recycle our napkin, cup and cardboard stock that is scrap and is not usable
Responsibilities and Duties
* Responsible for keeping baling area clean and clear
* Responsible for minor maintenance on baling machine (lube and check belts)
* Responsible for maintenance on forklift assigned to employee
* Responsible for keeping dumpster emptied
* Responsible for keeping baskets in forming area clean and clear
* Responsible for inventory of baling wire
* Responsible for keeping roll cores in bin and neat
* Responsible for keeping cut-off stubs in neat pile
* Responsible for any other tasks asked by supervisor
**Job Requirements**
Skills Required:
* Be able to work diligently without supervision
* Basic mathematical skills
* Safe operation of equipment used and required in this position
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
FLSA Working conditions:
* Lift up to 50 lbs up to 60 times 4 hours on and off
* Must be able to walk and stand for 8 hours
* Must have clear vision and great attention to detail
* Must be able to bend
