The **Customer Experience Associate** role supports the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) team in building and maintaining strong customer relationships as we grow. This position provides an opportunity to gain insight into the operations of a direct-to-consumer brand and valuable work experience in customer service and success. This is a primarily administrative role in a fast-paced and highly interactive work environment. This position will report to the CPG Operations Manager.

**Responsibilities**

* Respond daily (Monday Friday) and promptly to customer inquiries via public-facing email account and website inquiry form

* Acknowledge and respond to customer complaints related to purchase experience, shipping, product quality, stock, etc.

* Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers at all times

* Maintain strong knowledge of our CPG products in order to quickly and accurately answer customer questions

* Process order actions including refunds, replacements, cancellations, address changes, etc. within Shopify

* Communicate with fulfillment and 3PL partners as needed to troubleshoot and correct any order issues

* Keep records of customer interactions, complaints, inquiries, and transactions; send daily reports to the CPG Operations Manager

* Identify trends or pain points in customer experience based on inquiries and complaints received

**Skills & Requirements**

* Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

* Strong communication and administrative skills

* Ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor

* Well spoken, courteous and professional

* Ability to juggle multiple logistics

* A team player with a can-do-anything attitude

* Detail-oriented and always thinking at least one step ahead

* Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks

* Ability to navigate diverse personalities

* Knowledge of / experience with Shopify a plus

* Relatively consistent schedule; able to work around the same time each day - *hours may vary based on volume of sales and business needs*

**Physical Demands**

* The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
