The PS 261 afterschool program is looking for part-time counselors with 1+ years of experience working with elementary school students grades, Kindergarten - 5th. Must be patient, flexible and able to handle 15 to 20 students at one time. The right candidate will help with homework, attendance taking, snacks and bathroom breaks. This position requires high energy, keeping students engaged, and must be dependable and a team player.
Work hours are 2:30pm-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, except holidays. These hours are non-negotiable, apply only if those hours work with your schedule.
