Our client, a prominent technology acquisition firm, is looking to add a highly motivated and versatile Corporate Development M&A Senior Associate to join their dynamic M&A team. Playing a critical role in shaping the future of the company's growth through strategic investments, you'll spearhead comprehensive due-diligence missions for potential target companies in the technology and software space.

As a Senior Associate, you'll conduct in-depth assessments of target companies, leveraging data analysis to uncover crucial financial and business insights. Through financial modeling and market research, you'll help evaluate deal structures and assess the potential of early-stage capital investment opportunities.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the acquisition process, prepare insightful reports and presentations, and actively stay ahead of industry trends. With potential for future growth into a full-cycle M&A professional, you'll also contribute to business development activities.

To excel in this role, you'll possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in M&A within Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or another quantitative field
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis (case studies or online examples a plus)
  • Intermediate financial modeling skills
  • Thirst for learning about diverse industries and technologies
  • Project management skills to juggle multiple priorities

While not mandatory, these qualifications are highly desirable in a candidate:

  • CFA or CIIA designation
  • Familiarity with a buy and build model and VMS or software experience/knowledge
  • Fluency in additional languages (German, French, Dutch, Spanish)
