**Description**
Sub-Zero Group, a distributor of high end luxury appliances, seeks a Corporate Chef for our Manhattan Showroom. This individual will provide Sub-Zero/Wolf/Cove product education, information and inspiration to consumers, architects and designers through comprehensive cooking demonstrations, use and care classes and culinary-based promotions.
Major responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive cooking demonstrations, group and individual use and care classes and interactive cooking lessons, effectively showcasing the depth and breadth of our product to consumers, architects and designers
Developing interesting and exciting menus, with an emphasis on product knowledge, to promote Sub-Zero/Wolf/Cove products
Inventory ordering/purchasing and food cost controls
Organizing culinary staff to carryout events on & off site
Providing input for development of operating budget in regards to culinary department
Cultivating relationships with other chefs
Presenting a clean and professional image and representing Sub-Zero Group in a professional manner
Establishing and maintaining all food production standards

Bachelors or better in Culinary Arts or related field.
**Experience**

Exceptional presentation skills and public speaking experience
**Preferred**
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive culinary/kitchen experience, depending upon formal degree or training
Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques
Thorough knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment use and operation
Outstanding management, organizational, communication and leadership skills
A strong knowledge of wine is very beneficial but not essential
