Position Title: Sponsorship and Conferences Intern

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

MFA has more than 175 member firms, including traditional hedge funds, credit funds, and crossover funds, that collectively manage nearly $3.2 trillion across a diverse group of investment strategies. Member firms help pension plans, university endowments, charitable foundations, and other institutional investors to diversify their investments, manage risk, and generate attractive returns over time.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on trends and issues relevant for alternative asset management industry
• Assist with development of content for various marketing channels, including website, email, social media and print ads.
• Review and edit event collateral and marketing deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality
• Liaise with key members on maintaining content calendars and communication plans
• Participate in weekly team meetings

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a related program.
• Possess excellent communication and time management skills and should have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable representing the organization at member facing events.
• A background in the finance and events industry is a plus but not required.
